BCWBB took a quick trip with Mo–our overly philanthropic volunteer organizer–to a local neighborhood.
We bagged the day away–filling each one with different canned goods, breakfast necessities, and staples that every healthy family needs.
We met a couple characters today also. There was the one woman that got snippy with Coach Sheetz when she didn’t place the brown paper bag in the correct spot. I heard “hey little lady I told you where to put that one” being announced in the main hall and saw Coach Sheetz quickly shuffle her bag to the other table. There was also the middle aged man posted up against the front wall who kept asking if I’d ever “seen the stutter step in action”.
All in all ’twas a good day for the bcwbb fam. Bagged groceries, helped some families, and had a lot of fun.
